The Department of Social Sciences at Kibabii University offers the following programmes to both undergraduate and graduate students: Bachelor of Education in (Religion, History and Geography), given with other combinations, and MA in History, Religious Studies and Geography. However, it worth noting that the department is in the process of developing some additional courses to cater for the ever expanding needs. The market-oriented programmes include: Bachelor of Arts Religious studies with I. T, Bachelor of Arts in Geography, History and Political Science, Bachelor of Arts Development Studies, , MA and PhD in Literature and Creative Writing, MA and PhD in Political Science, MA and PhD in Development Studies.
